I just figured maybe we could talk about some of the stuff our favourite actors from the shows have done after Buffy/Angel/Supernatural... well in the last case before or during whatever.
I just managed to see Repo! The Genetic Opera with Antony Head, if you haven't seen it I thoughly suggest it. It's stunningly gothic and the songs (I think at least) are beautiful, plus you get to see Giles disembowel people while singing beautifully, does life get better? Hell even Paris Hilton is good in this. I'm not kidding at all, I hate her with a passion usually reserved for lawyers and telemarketers and she made me respect her and actually earned some respect. But really you only have to know that Antony Head rules in this, his songs (Legal Assasin and Night Surgeon are the two I love most) are the highlights of the movie.
What about you, what's your favourite movie with someone from these shows? (And yes I know a few Nick Brendon ones but I'll talk about them later maybe)

I'm getting me some Jared time next week. Friday the 13th, baby. Woooooo.
I've been watching Leverage with Christian Kane. I know thats not a movie. But its just nice getting a dose of Lindsey. It helps me play him when I have his voice in my head. I need it for all my characters.

Ooh you're gonna have to tell us if Friday the 13th is any good, I'm a little sceptical after I heard it's a remake of the first one with Jason in the mask, I'm just a big nerd, I'd probably scream "WHERE YOUR MOTHER JASON!" all the way through
I get to see me some Nicholas Brendon tonight, it's not a movie but new Criminal Minds airs here tonight and he's in the episode so I'm a happy little nerd

I saw My Bloody Valentine in 3d and loved it. Not just because of the Jensen factor. I actually thought it was hilarious. There was some graphic sexual situations which were mostly comical. I will definitely buy this dvd because I was thoroughly entertained.

Anyone else hear about the completely horrible idea that is the new "Buffy" movie w/out Joss or the cast? The producers may think they'll make money but I can't see the fans supporting the project at all.

I heard about this, it's actually the second Buffy Movie rumor I heard this year. The other one involved them being in talks with SMG to have her come back with Buffy as a mother. Both of them sound a little bad jokey to me I'm sad to say, we've been hearing about them doing a Buffy movie for ages now and nothings come of it. I'm really hoping they do make one though, but you're right, if they don't have Joss or the cast from the show in it it's not gonna sell... in fact I think there should be a basic rule, you can't do a Buffy movie without Buffy in it.

This was on perez hilton about the possible Buffy movie:
We're talking a brand-spankin new Buffy, as in no more Sarah Michelle Gellar!
The widely popular TV series (based on a little-seen shitty film), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, may be making a comeback to the big screen, but without the help of anyone who made it worth watching.
The owners to the series rights, Kuzui Enterprises, are looking to create a relaunch of the of series, much like the newly vamped (no pun intended) up blockbuster movie Star Trek. The film would have no connection to the TV series, no inclusion of familiar characters, and as for now, does not even include the masterful work of Buffy creator Joss Whedon.
This, of course, begs the question of who the hell is going to see this movie if the fans don't even have the creator to fall back on to make the shit work?
We guess it would mean a new slayer for a new generation. But we think the only slayer any generation is interested in is Buffy herself. Maybe there should be more efforts on the reunion then a revamp (pun intended)!

Passsss lol I loved the original movie cause I was so young, but it was a terrible movie, especially compared to the show. If the same people are going to try and redo it, and Joss isnt involved, I know it wont be that great.

Friday the 13th stayed true to the original series. There was drug content, sexual situations and plenty of blood. It wasn't that bad to watch and there is going to be a sequel which means more Jared!
My Bloody Valentine was decent. The original has a cult following though not like Rocky Horror Picture Show. For it being a 3D movie it was excellent. Many bloody scenes which really set the title off. But the bad thing about people who didn't get to see it on the big screen is that it's harder to really get the 3D scenes. I watched it again over the weekend and it wasn't as impressive as the movies. Then again I didn't watch it on the largest screen nor did I have the cool glasses.
I've heard many rumors that Buffy was going to come to the big screen in the past two years. I know Sarah Michelle Gellar wasn't interested at the time to reprise the role. I saw the blog on Perez as well and I agree that if Joss isn't coming back to have a part in the movie then it's going to blow. He made the series what it is quite frankly. Well him and David Boreanaz as Angelus did as well. >3
